❄️How to make a Hot Gin Punch❄️ Based on a traditional Victorian recipe, this Hot Gin Punch has clean, simple and delicious flavours. Unlike other winter punches this cocktail only features the warming botanical tones from the gin and doesn’t overload on spices. Ingredients: 75ml of Gin 150ml of Water 50ml of Sherry 4 tsp of Brown Sugar 2 tsp of Lemon Juice 2 Pinches of Lemon Zest Lemon Slices, for garnish Method: Add the sugar, water, lemon zest and lemon juice to a saucepan Put the saucepan over a low heat and bring it up to a simmer Gently stir until the sugar has dissolved Let the mixture steam away for 5 minutes and then add the gin and sherry Gently bring it up to boil, and after a few minutes remove from the heat Add the lemon slices and stir gently Taste the cocktail and add more sugar or water if desired Pour into a heatproof glass, and garnish with some of the lemon slices from the saucepan
