How to make an Irish Coffee Affogato
Is it a cocktail, or is it a dessert? You decide! This Irish Coffee Affogato is everything you love about traditional Irish coffee but adds a luxurious scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of cream or milk.
Ingredients:
- 200ml of Fresh Black Coffee
- 50ml of Whiskey
- 1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
- Coffee Beans, for garnish
Method:
- Make black coffee of choice
- Scoop a serving of ice cream and place it into the bottom of a glass
- Measure out a serving of whiskey and pour it over the ice cream

Whilst you can make it like a classic Irish Coffee there is also an alternative recipe that uses baileys, cold brew coffee and coffee ice cream all combined with your Irish Whiskey of choice. This is definitely closer to a dessert than a cocktail, but made either way it's a glass of deliciousness.
